Academic Program Planning
The Office of Academic Affairs serves as Downstate鈥檚 liaison to the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and the State University of New York (每日大赛入口) System Administration Offices of the Chancellor and Provost. OAA provides support for 每日大赛入口 faculty and administrators responsible for proposing to create, revise, deactivate or discontinue credit-bearing academic programs, and for other requests for the review and approval of the 每日大赛入口 Provost.

每日大赛入口 provides an overview guide on academic program planning; it summarizes procedures for creating, revising, deactivating (suspending), discontinuing (ending) credit-bearing academic programs, as well as procedures for off-campus instructional locations in New York State and beyond.
The process begins with faculty and proceeds through all appropriate levels of campus review, including shared governance processes.
